So,once upon a time, I had a vision of Christmas grandeur. My vision consisted of having a great Walker Christmas Tradition where the family would joyously gather together to decorate our Christmas tree. While listening to Christmas music and laughing we would dress the tree, and after all the enjoyment...our youngest child would then be lifted above everyone else...to place the Christmas Star atop the tree! Ah the joy of Christmas!
Well after much crying, wailing, and gnashing of teeth... I ended up decorating the tree mostly by myself, and it was...well it was just better if everyone got a turn putting the star at the top! So much for visions of grandeur...it was still pretty fun for everyone to get a turn putting the star atop our Christmas tree. A new Walker tradition?
